Summary
Dimes San Diego, LLC purchased a 2002 Nissan R34 M-Spec NUR in Millennium Jade from Pterodactyl Tactics, LLC (Marc Harout Tchamanian) and didn’t receive it, nor did Dimes recieve the refund that was promised many times by Marc. The contract for the purchase of the car was breeched, and several attempts were made to try to recover funds. Dimes San Diego, LLC got legal council involved after the second promise was broken to receive a refund. The legal team for Dimes tried working with Marc for 2 months to find a way to agree to extended payment terms for Marc. Part of this agreement was for a personal guarantee by Marc to pay back all funds within 6 months, he denied. Marc offered $5k/mo until the car could be paid back, that was dissatisfactory. With no clear path to receiving funds, Dimes San Diego, LLC filed a lawsuit against Pterodactyl Tactics, LLC & Marc Harout Tchamanian personally.
Dealer’s Excuse/Sob Story:
From all that we have gathered through this journey, this is in our words our interpretation. Marc’s response/excuse is that the person he purchased the vehicle from took the funds and didn’t give him a car. It isn’t his fault but somebody else’s. He cannot pay Dimes San Diego, LLC back until he gets paid back. Being in business we felt sympathy for Marc, and as long as we were paid back we would just move on. However, as things unraveled, we uncovered lies and this is where we are today.
Multiple Victims
There are multiple other individuals who are also in the same position (No Car, No Refund).
Current Status
Marc said he would be liquidating assets to assist with paying back funds. Yet no funds have been returned. Instead, we get to see flexing of his R34 GT-R, his 2JZ Supra Build, his son’s go karting, and what seems him to continue to do business. Yet, none of that generates enough money to pay us back anything apparently. The lawsuit is active and we have completed the first step of discovery, with follow-ups on the way. We are seeking full recovery of funds, plus all legal fees. Which per our contract, was agreed to by Marc. We are simply trying to hold Marc to his word and the contract which was signed. Doesn’t seem like a big ask…
